OK, I'm sure I already know the answer to this but to ease my mind I need to ask it anyway. Please, no rude comments. I have never owned or used binoculars myself and I have no idea what different types are out there or how powerful they can get. My question is, can you see through thin curtains with binoculars? Can you see through louvered doors? Can they see through anything? I'm asking because I have a VERY nosy neighbor.

if you can’t see through it with the naked eye you will probly won’t be able to do it with binoculors. Binoculars can only magnify a image..or bring it closer for that matter. Unless your neighbour is a secret agent/spy and has some high tech gadgets lol. But no binoculars I know of can see through stuff.
No, you can not see through anything with binoculars. They come in different styles and range in power. binoculars are basically powerful magnifying glasses. So binoculars just zoom in like a lens on a camera. Hope this helps

They can’t see through anything that you can’t see through with your naked eyes. All they allow you to do is see things which are far away clearly, magnified.
Do take caution with your curtains if your neighbor is nosy, especially in the evenings. If it is dark out, a person with binoculars can see a great deal through an open window if the lights are on and the curtains are open. Even if they are closed, he’ll still be able to see your silhouette if the lights are on and the curtains are thin.
