Why was my neighbor (three house down and across the street) watching my tile guy cut tile with his binoculars?

I have a couple of guys working at the house yesterday, and when I pulled up onto our street I observed that neighbor sitting on his porch with binoculars staring our house and in particular the tile guy cutting tile. He's an older gentleman and I think he lives with his wife. That was creepy? Anyone have any guesses???

Okay, maybe he is a voyeur or maybe he got a new pair of binoculars. Most voyeurs aren’t going to sit on their porch so obviously. I’m betting he got a new pair and he’s checking them out. If you see him again, just ask him if you can have a look-see. Betcha he’d love to brag about them.
There really isn’t anything creepy about it. He is just an older gentleman without much to do. He probably found it interesting to watch the tile guys working. It gave him something to do and pass the time.
Maybe he wanted to know what make of tile cutter they were using.
Sheesh!
He is curious for one. Possibly shy, possibly arthritic, old or crippled, possibly lazy.
But, so what. Unless the tile-setter is an attractive, scantily clad individual in which case all bets are off.
